Its obverse side features the Central Bank of the Philippines headquarters building in Manila, Manuel Acuna Roxas, the inauguration of the Third Republic on 4 July 1946, the seal of Philippine president, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal. Its reverse side shows a map, a whale shark, Mayon Volcano, and a Bicol textile design.
