There appears to be base metal and plate loss covering approx. 1/3 of the surface but the base metal is a pleasant dark color that does not stick out too much. There is also two dents in the body. I have shown these condition issues as best as I can in my final photos. That being said this is still a very attractive and functional example of rare Poole quadruple plate.
