Used in low amounts it can kill off wild yeast which ensures you only ferment with the yeast strain you choose. Used in higher amounts it can be used as a sanitizer. Great for use with our bottle rinser to sterilize bottles. Will also prevent oxidation of wines. We recommend adding a 1/4 teaspoon to every 6 gallon batch if you intend to keep it over a year.
