Powerflex MINI Cooper Lower Engine Mount Replacement Small Bushing 2002-2006 R50 R53 R52 This is the Powerflex lower engine mount small end bushing replacement. This replaces the small end of the tear drop shaped lower engine mount on the back of the engine. This is just the bushing for the mount and is designed to reduce the engine movement and rocking. If yours is worn out or broken the engine will rock back and forth knocking, and even causing more damage to the other engine mounts and clutch. The rubber on the older ones is normally cracked and torn. This is a direct replacement for the rubber part. It is adjustable as you can install just the yellow parts to make it soft, or you can install the black insert to stiffen it up more and reduce the engine rocking even more. Much better and more cost effective solution than buying the entire new mount with the aluminum bracket. You will need to press out the old rubber bushing to install this.This will also work for the 02-04 early models top engine stabilizer small end.
