Check the listing for details. primitive silver plate decagon – maple syrup or cream dispenser. Listed at 125.00 USD. KEYWORDS: sugar shack Please note: I ship to USA only. Depending on buyer's location eBay may collect state sales tax. Price is firm. Listed here is what appears to be a very unique item. It is a dispenser of some sort – cream or syrup maybe. To a friend of mine, it is reminiscent of maple sap evaporators that she saw when she was a kid (1950s – 1960s) in upstate New York, so it may well be a maple syrup dispenser. The only identification on the item is a very worn laurel wreath around 5-point star with an “s” barely observable in it. The words “quadruple silver” appear as well. It is assumed to be quadruple silver plate. Indications are that this item may date back to 1900 or so – though I can find no direct evidence of that. This would be a nice décor item for any sugar shack office. Dimensions: please see the marked up photo. Weight: 14.6 oz Please ask any questions you might have prior to bidding.
