Purflex™ is a revolutionary, new, flexible, real wood purfling that inlays easily and elegantly on any curve, in any direction. Each strip is approx. 16 inches long so 4 will be enough to do even the largest of guitar tops. One will trim out a peg head and two will surround a solid wood rosette. Each 16 inch strip is $25. The strips are 1/8 inch wide and .072 thick, .040 of which is real maple. Inlay them so they stand just slightly proud, then fill them with epoxy and black powdered Tempera paint, sand smooth and you're done. It takes 4 to do a guitar top, and they are $25 for each strip. You can do a single line rosette with 1 strip, or 2 strips for a double line rosette. 1 strip should do a peghead.
