Has the sound of a mechanical movement with the reliability and low maintenance of a quartz movement. The movement measures (with chime rods) 7 1/16" high x 6 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" deep. Shaft diameter is 5/16". Total hand shaft length is 7/8" and can be used with a dial up to 1/2" thick. Movement operates with or without a pendulum. Has a convenient chime silencer. Uses 1 "D" cell battery. 2 year warranty. Comes with a set of black 5 1/2" length spade style hands - spade style also comes in the following lengths: 2 1/2", 3 1/2", and 4 1/2".
