In response, we bring you the Quickdraw Ebow Sling! Originally conceived by Ken, guitarist of the massively popular Japanese rock group, L'Arc~en~Ciel (used on the song NEO UNIVERSE - AWAKE TOUR, 2009, see next to the tiny red dots in the last photo, where it's hanging at his side), the Quickdraw clips directly to your guitar strap or plastic adjuster buckle, allowing the Ebow to hang near the back of your thigh, ready to be brought into action! When it's time to use the pick again, the player can just reach behind them slightly (safely away from the guitar) and drop it. When the Ebow is no longer needed at all for the song, it can be dropped right into your pocket, to prevent it from swinging around unnecessarily. This newly improved the Quickdraw design features a soft and light polyester strap, chosen for its slightly "springy" quality, which provides an element of shock absorption. Should you accidentally drop the Ebow from higher than intended, it will only bounce slightly at the end of the strap, rather than suffering a hard jolt. The secure 2-point attachment system (top and bottom)ensures that the Ebow always hangs level, so you know exactly how it is oriented before you even reach for it. The 2-point fastening ring also provides additional shock absorption, being made from strong and thick elastic. It is cloth covered (a bit like vintage cloth wiring) which makes it easy to install and remove, and allows it to slide over the Ebow's surface without binding or marring the shiny finish (Did you know the original Ebow model was chrome?). It is applied in a figure-8 pattern, so it supports the Ebow at 2 points, providing stability and keeping the Ebow in optimum playing position (pointing toward the floor, so it fits into your hand naturally when you reach down for it).
