This is the ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING of this poster designed by the famous Paul Davis. Printed in 1976 for the New York Summer Shakespeare Festival, it advertises the award-winning play by David Rabe called "Streamers." It won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best American Play in 1976. Set during the Vietnam War, this play is the last in a series of three works by the playwright dealing with the personal struggles of American soldiers during the war. The title refers to parachutes that fail to open. The large poster measures 23 x 46 inches, and it is good condition but has some damage to the right edge. Otherwise fantastic.
