Check the listing for details. Rare WWII Murphy Combat Knife. Condition: Used. Listed at 795.00 USD. This knife was produced by David Z. Murphy and his son David M. Murphy, custom knife makers who also supplied knives to the Gerber Legendary Blade Knife Company in 1938. This knife was made for US servicemen during and after World War II, and has a cast aluminum handle with the words MURPHY COMBAT on one side and U.S.A. on the other. The blade is 6 1/8 inches long. The knife is 11 3/4 inches overall. This knife is a rare and historic piece of military memorabilia, as only about 90,000 of them were made between 1941 and 1954 and very few remain. It is in good condition, the blade is dull and has some tarnish. Murphy Combat and USA clearly legible on the handle. Don't miss this opportunity to own a rare piece of military history.
