The adjustment rod is made out of heat-treated carbon steel to withstand extreme conditions and the red rubber boot protects the adjustment rod from the elements for even more durability while adding to the scale look. It's capped off with heavy duty 3mm Plastic Rod ends that are easily replaceable if needed.
