The head has an built in level It has forward and back tilt with individual drag and individual lock. It has left to right pan with individual drag and individual lock the knobs, Rachet levers and handle on the head all tighten up. The head is in extremely nice condition. It can be used the way it is if you have a quick release plate. Or if you have the Manfrotto 3066 head with a qr plate on another tripod this would be an ideal second head set up on another tripod and you just move the camera with your qr plate from your tripod to this head in a second location. it is great for 35mm, digital, video, movie cameras, medium format, large format as well as telescopes and spotting scopes and lazers.
