This stunning silver tea and coffee service was designed by master silversmith John Prip during his time as designer in residence at Reed and Barton (1957-60). The sleek and sophisticated design of this Danish Modern set is sure to impress with its clean lines. It features woven black plastic at the handles to prevent scalding while serving. The set includes both a coffee and a tea pot, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, waste bowl and 22" serving tray, numbered Reed and Barton 1720-1725 respectively. The set is in very good overall condition after over 50 years of service with very light scratching. There is a small dent in the creamer and 2 areas of discoloration on the inside of the waste bowl, see photos. Ive owned this set for a while now and I must say it is very pleasing to look at every day.
