Reed & Barton Double Bowl Sauce Boat w/ Handles #160 EPNS Silver Plated ~ VTG Description: Beautifully conceived and crafted, this double sauce boat is typical of R&B's stunning designs. It's elegant, practical, shows off beautifully and will add to any table setting. The flared rim is slightly scalloped, there are two ornate handles which double as feet to balance the bowl bottoms, with a solid vertical (sealed) dividing dam. Capacity: 1-1/4 Cups (10 fl oz) per side max Condition: EUC. Unfortunately, the photographs do not due the piece justice. The problem with shinny is that it reflects everything, including me. Soooo, the large black patches are my iPhone's reflection, NOT tarnish. Although it polished up beautifully, and I found no corrosion, it could use some minor detailing. That said, there are NO dents, bends, pits, scratches, scuffs, stains, discoloration, repairs or any other cosmetic / structural issues. The engraving on the bottom certifies: "REED & BARTON ~ 160 ~ Ⓐ" and although the OEM original oval label is still attached, the only remaining legible text reads "[Logo Reed & Barton]" Measures: 8-1/8" long x 5-1/4" wide (7-1/2" wide including dbl handles) x 2-1/2" high ( 3-3/8" high incl handles) Weighs: 15.5 oz plus packaging Notes: Unless NIB, factory sealed or otherwise impractical, all items are washed and sanitized prior to photography.Moisture exposes crazing that otherwise may be invisible.
