The small battery cap allows for use of a single CR 1/3N battery. This also includes the bikini lens cover as well as polarizing filter that threads on to the front of the lens. The polarizer can be manually adjusted to help control the visibility of the red dot depending on the brightness of your environment. Optic shows signs of wear along the body but is perfectly functional and powers on with no issues. There is no manual in this sale, but manuals can be found online on Aimpoint's website if needed.
