The Kestrel offers full tang construction made from 3/8" 80CRV2 carbon steel and has a black Cerakote finish for increased corrosion and wear resistance. This is a very heavy use tool and the full tang construction absorbs impact while the hardened striking surface of the head delivers powerful impact force without chipping or shattering.
