This uncirculated 500,000 Romanian lei banknote is a standard circulation banknote that is dated 2000 and signed by Mugur Constantin Isarescu and Ionel Nitu. It is a yellow, green, blue, and orange polymer note that measures 165 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side contains an edelweiss flower (Leontopodium alpinum), a BNR monogram, an airplane propeller, a portrait of Aurel Vlaicu, a vertical stripe in gold OVI with a latent image of the Aurel Vlaicu monument and a BNR pattern. Its reverse side features the Vlaicu II airplane, motor, the head of a mountain eagle (Aquila chrysaetos), and a BNR monogram.
