Ryobi P2009 18V String Trimmer Random Shutdown Fix- Add On Fan with Screws: This is a kit to fix to a super common problem with this particular trimmer from stopping/starting intermittently due to a microcontroller or motor overheating. This kit includes Qty-1 custom made fan and Qty-3 replacement screws to be added onto the motor and existing fan assembly facing the opposite direction. Kit fan fits without any additional modification to housing. Basic DIY skills needed; you will need to be able to open the housing with a T15 bit of your own to access the motor, then use screw driver to take off original fan and put back with additional new provided fan using new screws. This kit fixes the problem by displacing more air out of the housing to keep a cooler temperature of the microcontroller as to not overheat. Made in the USA! Includes Fan part and 3 screws only.
