Check the listing for details. SAE 180 Parametric Equalizer with Wooden Side Panels. Uber Rare!. Color: Black, Condition: Used. Listed at 699.00 USD. The persistence of Analog relevance in today's evolving digital culture! Part of my earlier SAE (Scientific Audio Electronics) Collection made in the great U.S of A. Offering is an ultra-rare, old-school "old-is-Cool" remnant vintage of when the audio world used to orbit around the gravitational realm of pure Analog universe and the ubiquitous ones-and-zeros were simply pre-schooling kindergarten element of its day. The 180 parametric equalizer with wooden side panel. The specimen featured here was practically unused for most of its life cycle just sitting inactive on display. (photos 1-to-5) Bench tested and pass with flying colors. Check-out more SAE classics below: 1. The very sought after 10EQ Parametric Equalizer. (photos 6-to-16, $699) All knobs have been replaced and upgraded with high quality, metal, more legible substitutes. Anecdotally speaking, the analog topology, point-to-point wiring network design and the timeless neo-classic look of the 10-EQ only, but validate my assertion that this transistorized wonder machine will process your input signal sonically warmer and audibly pleasant unmatched by its "ones and zeros" counterpart. Prior to posting, inactive for some time, it recently underwent a barrage of labor extensive but necessary attention, including but not limited to: detailed clean every crevice every line, deoxit knobs, dials, buttons as well as faders, replenished all pertinent electronic components to assure signal contact with some retouching involved in the refurbishing process to arrive in the integrity it once was. Bench tested and in full working order ready to integrate in any existing collection of equally esoteric gears by Audiophiles, niche SAE Enthusiasts or purveyor of all things analog, most coveted and in very short supply..Get it while it lasts and as rare as they come! No wood side panel nor rack ears included. However, as an option, will include two rack unit shelf if needed. Or a four rack unit shelf if purchased with the matching pa-10 preamp on a separate sale or when posting becomes available. 3. Highly desirable SAE 2900 pre-amp and parametric eq in excellent working state and condition. (photos 17-to-21, $799) Note: Some sliding controls have been replaced with shinny black plastic caps (see photos 19-and-20) but in no way impede full functionality in any manner. It's getting more & more difficult to source-out these amazing out-of-production SAE Analog gems...so grab them while they last! Like any other vintage, inconspicuous imperfections is almost expected due to age. Shipping and handling may vary on location. Post Script:Ideal for serious incurable collector or purveyor of all things analog, unique and in short supply with intent to build a showroom, I would consider to sell to the eligible buyer, a once in a life time find some of the rarest extremely sought after cornucopia of Vintage, Hi-Fi, DJ, A/V and Pro gears in a single Collection anywhere. Exceeding decades of tracking-down and literally thousands of man-hours invested in refurbishing, restoring, repairing these amazing electronic wonders to accumulate such magnificent concentration of historical analog importance you've ever seen! Some are new, used and few are part of my on going passion in what I do. Nonetheless, all has given equal meticulous attention and care to arrive in the integrity they once were and will be hard pressed not to admire aesthetically.
