Safe-Guard® Equi-Bits® Fenbendazole Type C Medicated Feed is a dewormer for horses that provides effective treatment and control of the following equine parasites: Large strongyles Small strongyles Pinworms Ascarids Safe-Guard® Equi-Bits® Fenbendazole Type C Medicated Feed contains the active ingredient fenbendazole in the form of alfalfa-based pellets to be used as a top dressing. Feed for one day, spreading pellets evenly on top of one daily ration. This equine dewormer is safe for use in horses and foals of any age, including mares at any stage of pregnancy, and will not adversely affect stallion fertility. A 1.25-pound container will treat 1,250 lbs. body weight. Regular deworming at intervals of 6 to 8 weeks may be required due to the possibility of reinfection. It is safe to deworm pregnant mares and foals with Safe-Guard® Equi-Bits®. For the treatment of ascarids, for a ONE (1) day treatment, add Safe-Guard® Equi-Bits® Fenbendazole Type C Medicated Feed to the daily ration at the rate of 1.0 pound for each 500 pounds body weight. A 1.25-pound container will treat 625 pounds body weight.
