Reminiscent of the popular MCM fruit stands, Sakura released two versions of essentially the same dinnerware configuration i.e., one featuring vegetables and this one with fruit. Although out of production for eighteen years, random pieces of both patterns remain somewhat available... except this divided fruit tray. Either very few were made, or those owning one aren't letting it go. Whether on display, or in service, it will be appreciated for a long time to come. Condition: NEW old stock (NOS) i.e., pristine, MINT in every respect. There are NO chips, nicks, cracks, crazing, scuffs, scratches, stains, fleabites, flaws, discoloration or any other cosmetic / structural issues. Even the kiln feet which are the first indication of prolonged display / use remain factory fresh.
