A great trick to show children it could now even be used to hold tablets or sweets. It has the very tactile bowed shape which sits beautifully in the hand. It is clearly fully hallmarked twice. 1896 London assay office The makers….” Sampson Mordan & CO” This beautifully designed RECTANGULAR Vesta is in’SUPERB CONDITION’ being free from dings, dents, holes & repairs. The hinge is strong, has a snap shut closing action & the lid has a nice tight fit when closed. The strike plate is in excellent condition.
