Meter has patent pending on meter display and an "arrowhead" pointer so it's most likely an older model, i.e. 1950s Battery operated, versatile and portable instrument which enables precise photometric measurements to be made over a brightness range of 1 000 000:1 S.E.I. Photometer Comparometer is from the estate of a family member who was a professional photographer. This rare, museum grade light meter was made by Salford Electrical Instruments (S.E.I.) in England 1948 to the 1960's. According to some of the research I discovered on this very cool item, although they stopped making it a long time ago, its still used by some Hollywood cinematographers for its extreme accuracy.
