Since update v1.8.2 (>2020) for REVELPROG-IS there is possibility to write also protected transceivers (if you know manufacturer password). With external programmer (REVELPROG-IS) it is possible to read SFP/SFP+ module in MSA standard* (block 0xA0), change configuration area (manufacturer name, part name, serial number, configuration bytes etc.) , calculate checksums and write new config to the module.
