This is how easy it is to fit: CAUTION: REMOVE MAGAZINE AND VISUALLY CHECK CHAMBER TO MAKE SURE THAT IT IS UNLOADED. Remove the slide assembly from the pistol frame and lock it in a padded vice. Remove the rear sight from the dovetail. If the sight has been secured with Loctite, it may be necessary to apply heat to the sight base before attempting to remove the sight. A sight press is ideal for removing tightly-fitted sights, though a piece of brass or aluminum rod stock can be used to apply force to the bottom of the dovetail section of the sight base without damaging it. Once the old sight is removed, press in the JP adapter. After centering the adapter, Loctite the set screw(s) in place. Install the Shield SMS or in USA the JPoint on top using the 6-32 button head screws provided. Start shooting faster than before !
