Black in color Installation Instructions Remove winch from frame bundle, reusing bolt and nut, slide winch into place and insert bolt through from the handle side of winch through winch base top hole and secure with the flange lock nut. Pivot the winch and match the A or B hole in the winch to the five holes on the winch base, again insert the 1/2" x 4-1/2" bolt from the winch handle side through the winch, winch base, and the bushing securing on the back side with a 1/2" flange lock nut. If a jack is going to be mounted to the winch base it should be done now. Set the winch assembly on the tongue with the winch handle side of the winch to the drivers or street side of the trailer. Insert 1/2" x 4" carriage bolts from the opposite side through so that the square carriage matches the square punched in the base and out through the other side and secure with 1/2" flange locknuts. The winch assembly can be moved forward or back to fit the boat properly. Once proper fit has been obtained tighten all nuts and insert plastic plugs.
