SILVER CLEANING PLATE Mix a 10:1 ratio of hot tap water with SHARPERTEKjewelry cleaning solution in the ultrasonic machine and turn the machine on for 3 minutes without putting anything else in the tank. This will help de-gas the solution. The amount of solution should not exceed the max line in the tank. Put the silver cleaning plate in the ultrasonic machines basket and your silver jewelry on top of the plate and place the basket in the machine. Turn the machine on for at least 3 minutes. The process of turning the machine on with silver jewelry in it could be repeated several times for very dirty and tarnished silver. If the solution becomes dirty you must rinse the tank and repeat the process.
