Check the listing for details. SimonsThimble in sterling silver. Condition: Used. Listed at 29.00 USD. Sterling silver thimble, made by Simons. The thimble is marked on the band around it with a "9" as to size. Inside the top of the thimble it has an "S" in a shield for Simons, and around the shield it is marked "Sterling Silver". It has a decorative band near the bottom, then the plain band with the size number, and then the traditional thimble, dimpled surface. Excellent used condition. Simons Co. began making thimbles in Philadelphia in 1839, and are still manufacturing thimbles.
