This is a beautiful 2nd edition 1979 printing of a 434 page hardbound reference covering the markings of an early decade of U.S. postage stamps and covers. Almost new condition with hundreds of illustrations. This illustrates many of the scarce and beautiful fancy cancels of the 1800's bank era. A few wrinkles on the very good dust jacket with no markings, tears, or missing pages, this has been in a smoke free home for over 35 years.
