Top edge is crenellated. Exterior alternates fan/scallop motif with diamonds, which themselves alternate between a fine grid pattern and an abstract motif of crossed parallel lines. The bottom is plain. Excellent condition (it was in a collection, not in daily use). The bottom has one large chip and a few smaller ones; the rest of the salt is perfect.
