The Snareweight M-80 Expressive Damper is engineered to control overtones without sacrificing the initial attack of your drum. The patented magnetic design allows you to easily flip between four different levels of dampening: fully-on, 2/3 on, 1/3 on, or completely off. It is designed to clip onto snare drums or larger toms with standard triple-flanged, diecast, or traditional wood claw hoops (but not inward flanged hoops like S-Hoop, Slingerland style or Tama Arc). You can readily move the M-80 to whatever drum you're playing, including carrying them in your stick bag for use on house kits. If you consistently need lesser dampening you can use its little brother the M1b Damper.
