Center it and you will have the sun in your view.Should be used in conjunction with a solar filter for your telescope or camera. Also should not be used to look at the sun directly. This may only be used as an alignment aid! You can buy it with a dovetail connector (Synta style), Telrad connector, a hot shoe connector (for cameras), a 12mm or 14mm slideon foot, or without a connector which can be mounted to anything using double-sided tape, etc. There are 2 sizes for the finders without a foot ('None', 'Large').
