Victorian silver stamp box by Stokes & Ireland in Chester 1989 . Hallmarks inside and outside the box . Gold gilt inside the box is worn as photos show and I do believe there originally was an insert which is no longer with it . Has a few minor age marks on the bottom but nothing serious and one small mark on side looks like someone tested it for silver .Lovely style box , please study photos with minor age related marks at bottom. Size - Appropriately 1.8 x 5.2 x 3.3 cm .
