There is no battery cover included, the batteries however do not fall out. This player functions very strangely, this is because I had been testing it out for around 10 minutes and it was not working but then began working well without any issues. I decided to take out the batteries and put them back in and the player once again does not turn on. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or do not know how to properly use this player but the time that it worked it functioned well with all of the buttons working well.
