The leather is premium 10 oz leather and is much thicker than other strops on the market. This strop outlasts others for this very reason.Hand sanded and finished with a generous coat of boiled linseed oil on the handle. I use boiled linseed oil because it penetrates, strengthens, and protects the wood.Strop is 8” in overall length with an 6” x 1.5” stropping surface.You will not be disappointed in the quality of these strops!The strop pictured is a prototype.
