Check the listing for details. StewMac Razor File, Tapered Flat. Condition: New. Listed at 71.01 USD. Our StewMac Razor Files are super sharp and super efficient! Imagine putting hundreds of little razor-sharp planes to work while you're shaping an instrument neck. They're the sharpest fine-cut woodworking files we've ever used. They cut quickly and aggressively, but leave the wood surprisingly smooth. You'll discover they're real time-savers for shaping solidbodies, custom jigs and clamping cauls too. A new manufacturing process is the key to Razor File efficiency. Rows of semi-circular plane-like teeth are chemically etched to extreme sharpness, and diagonal grooves are milled at strategic intervals to minimize clogging. Early samples of these files were quickly snapped up by our R&D guys for testing in their own shops, and they immediately loved them. Features include: Tapered files offer a bit more versatility. Use them when shaping a volute on an acoustic guitar neck, blending in curves, or working on tricky spots like the horn of a solidbody guitar. This flat file cuts on both the front and back faces, and has "safe" smooth sides. Includes easy-grip contoured handle for safe, comfortable use. Threads inside the handle grip the file tang securely. Dimensions: Handle length: 3-5/8" (92.07mm) Cutting surface: 7" (180mm) Tapers from 3/4" to 5/32" (19mm to 4mm) Overall length including handle: 12-1/4" (310mm)
