This quilt was made from a set of quite thin strips to try out a technique of randomly putting them together. The result is good but not my preferred technique!! So it needs a new appreciative home. As shown in the pictures, it makes a good armchair throw or a lovely small cuddle rug. It also looks rather nice on the couch. I used an autumn leaf fabric for the backing, and it was quilted using a hand guided, domestic sewing machine on a small quilting frame. There is no hand sewing on this quilt, so it will stay sturdy and functional throughout long use. Throw it into the washing machine on a warm setting, tumble dry then you can iron it smooth to keep the 'as new' look if you prefer. The batting is cotton and the quilt measures 45" by 35" (115 by 88 cm).
