This is a tool designed and built by summa to change the printhead in a summa dc4 and dc5. We sourced this from our summa print supplier. We used this in our dc4sx so I assume it fits the dc5 as well. I am not sure about the Summa dc3. Tool is in great shape and only used a few times. Very sturdy and nicely designed OEM tool. This tool is required to get the printhead aligned under the print carriage without damaging the head. The pad on the tool covers the print surface of the printhead during the install. The screw on the end of the tool screws directly into the print carriage to hold the printhead straight and in place. The handle allows you to maneuver the printhead in place.
