In between vacuuming, we would use it to rake the rug. In the winter, we use it to clean off snow from the porch, and also to clean off the cars. It is rubber, so it doesn’t scratch the cars, and it is long enough to clean off the roof. When it finally started to wear out after many years, I searched the internet, and bought 2 more, so our daughter could have one of their own. I love these brooms. It is the very best broom to use when you have animals especially dogs. It picks up all the hair. We are getting ready to have to replace one of the brooms due to the broom part getting cracked where it goes into the handle itself.
