Offered here at a tiny fraction of Tek's price is a TDS380 scope made by Tek circa 1995, sold new for about $5000 (more valuable $ back then). It was the improved, faster version of the TDS320 (introduced in 1992) which added floppy disc for storage and date/time at bottom right corner of the screen, and of course, 4x the bandwidth.. Photos were taken on scope offered here, serial # B012973. First photo shows a fast rise 1MHz 1Vpp signal fed into both channels. The measuring system reports 2 parameters I selected, volts and freq. In 2nd I expanded time base to fastest speed for just CH1. In 3rd I did same for CH2. In 4th I slowed down time base and selected 4 measured parameters, 2 for each channel.In 5th I am injecting a 6MHz 2.5Vpp signal into CH2. In 6th, without changing source amplitude, I raised freq to over 500MHz.In 7th I did same for CH1. 8th photo shows welcome screen. If you want me to replace the Li battery backed timekeeping NVRAM IC and provide fresh calibration, please offer $400 more.
