Notice in one picture the lid sits down inside a bit deeper than in the other photo. This is to accommodate a Pyrex bowl being used as a liner. I always use my own glass or ceramic bowls for easier cleaning inside the dish but the bowl/lid both accommodate a bowl as a liner and sits normal height.
