TTI Theatre Techniques PS-2.4Q Quad Dimmer Module From a Hub Dimatronics PR6 system So this might be an odd duck. While it is marked and branded as a TTI Dimmer, it was in a Hub Dimatronics rack. Story goes, and this could be off . . . When TTI went out of business Hub lighting bought all the remaining parts to corner the market on spare parts. They found that there were more than enough parts to build a few complete dimmer racks, so Hub built a few and sold them as Dimatronics systems. We're told that everything in these is the same as the last of the racks that TTI built. Further we're told that the connectors on the back of the modules are really what Kliegl was using in their K96 racks. The system was working perfectly when we pulled it out. The school retired the system because one of the pins in the rack got hot and melted the plastic that keeps them in place. They examined the whole system and found a few more melted plastic holders. These parts are very scarce and when they heard what it could cost to replace a few pins and plastic pieces they decided that they didn't need lighting in their auditorium and had us pull the whole system. So now we're selling of the old rack piece by piece. We heard that the pins are running over $75 each and the plastic part is just as expensive. So you can get over $300 in parts for way less than that. We've also got the control cards, power supplies, rack end connectors, heck, we'll even sell you the metal cabinet.
