The Turkey 200 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 2009 under Law 1970. Its obverse side contains Turkish text, a star, a star and crescent, and the portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side contains Turkish text, doves, roses, the poet Yunus Emre, his tomb, and an excerpt of his poem "Sevelim Sevilelim" (Love and Be Loved). Security features include a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with printed TL 200, and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk with an electrotype 200. The purple banknote bear the signatures of Sahap Kavcioglu and Emrah Sener. This particular note is in uncirculated condition.
