It was always operated in a clean room environment. Please make sure you have a complete understanding of the adjustments needed to tune to single mode and the right equipment (using an optical spectrum analyzer is a must). The unit is provided will all connections/cables to allow powering up and testing the unit the day of arrival. The tunable laser module was originally adjusted by Thorlabs field application engineering; however you need to run the TLK1050 adjustment after receiving the station, as moving it/shipping may affect the fine adjustment. Due to the delicate nature of the optics and electronics, we do NOT accept returns unless item was damaged in transit and the damage affects its functionality (claims of functionality loss will be verified and documented).The station was tested before posting the ad and will be tested again just before shipping. This is a unit that was purchased new, was used for research, was operated routinely by a certified operator, and we have full knowledge of its status (not a unit from a closed lab or “known” to work). Main photo shows the tunable laser TLK1050 assembled in a custom enclosure with the actuator. Photo2 shows a close up view of the modules in the enclosure.
