There are stories of samples taken into the wild by DYE employees before the final production release. I think this might be one of them based on… 1) Overall length is 15”. All DYE boomsticks of this generation are either 14” or 16”. 2) The teardrop towards the rear of the barrel is smaller size compared to production version. 3) The end of the back is chamfer round versus a more aggressive slope on the production model. Production models can be seen in advertisement images. Own a piece of history with this barrel set. Autococker threads. Two piece (not glued).
