This is the original lockplate & hammer for a percussion gun of some kind. I think pistol because it is rather small but it could be for a small bore squirrel rifle, I actually think I remember reading that the same lockplate could be used on either if the gun was made by a gunsmith. The hammer has some wiggle, the screw won't easily tighten more so it will need a shim or glue or something. It works good and has good springs. Buyer pays $4.00 shipping and insurance.
