All Air Force, Navy and Marine pilots receive their primary flight training in the T-6 "Texan" to include training in contact, instruments, formation and navigation. The T-6 is the long awaited and much needed replacement for the T-37 "Tweet". After training in the T-6, USAF student pilots "track" into either the tanker/transport track flying the T-1 or the fighter/bomber track flying the T-38 or the C-130 track flying the T-44 or the helicopter track flying the UH-1. Once complete with that training, student pilots are awarded their pilot wings and proceed to their formal training in their assigned aircraft such as the F-16, C-17, C-130, etc. Larger quantities of this patch are available at a discount for UPT classes, UPT bases, etc. Patches do not include velcro.
