This is an AUTHENTIC, "Fly Navy" patch currently in use from Commander, Naval Air Forces at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego CA. It depicts the "Wings of Gold" every Naval Aviator receives upon completion of flight training, emblazoned upon a globe those Aviators PROTECT! The patch was created for the Naval Aviation Centennial celebrating 100 years of Aviation since Lieutenant T. G. Ellyson became the first naval officer to undergo flight training in 1911. It is a cloth patch with plastic heat sealed backing that measures 4" in diameter. Shipping in CONUS (Continental US) is FREE. International shipping charges will be calculated through USPS utilizing First Class Registered mail.
