This patch is old new stock and was never issued or used and is in outstanding condition for its age. The 178th Tactical Fighter Group was active from 1962 to 1992 when it was redesignated as the 178th Fighter Group and so this patch would date from that era. This patch would make a great addition to any militaria collector especially now that the unit is obsolete.
