Vietnam Era US Army/USMC Canvas Utility Strap Set - Used to Carry Ammo Cans - Unissued Condition Up for sale is a Vietnam Era US Army/USMC Canvas Utility Strap Set. There are two straps included in the set. The straps are made from heavy cotton duck material. There are two snap hooks on the ends of the straps and an adjustment buckle. These straps were used for a variety of purposes. The most common use was to hook the straps on the the metal handles of the 30 cal ammo cans, they were then carried over the shoulder during patrols and combat engagements. These straps are in unissued condition and carry a variety of contract dates, mainly in the 1950's and 1960's. You get TWO Straps in each Set. May have minor verdigris on the metal from storage.
